Settings

CyberViewer provides extensive configuration options organized into tabs.

Settings Tabs

General

Setting Description
Language English / Spanish
Target monitor Auto or specific display
Animated GIFs Autoplay animated GIFs
Double-click behavior Fit-to-window or original size
Navigation zoom Reset or keep zoom on image change

Appearance

Setting Description
Accent color Cyan, Pink, Green, Orange
Background style Checker-dark, Checker-light, Solid

Interface

Setting Description
Sidebar Show thumbnail sidebar on start
Status bar Show status bar
Tooltips Show hover tooltips
Hints Show contextual hints
Auto-hide delay Delay before auto-hiding UI
Double-click behavior Toggle zoom mode

Slideshow

Setting Description
Interval Time between images (2s, 3s, 5s, 10s)
Loop Repeat from beginning
Enter fullscreen Auto-enter fullscreen on start

System

Setting Description
Close to tray Close button minimizes to tray
Close image on tray hide Close image when hiding to tray
Auto-start with Windows Launch at sign-in
Context menu Explorer context menu integration
Multiple instances Allow multiple windows
Toggle hotkey Global hotkey (default: Alt+Shift+V)
Check updates on startup Auto-check for updates
Factory reset Reset all settings to defaults

Settings Backup

Export Settings

Backup your settings:

  1. Go to Settings → System
  2. Click Export
  3. Choose save location
  4. Settings exported as JSON

Import Settings

Restore from backup:

  1. Go to Settings → System
  2. Click Import
  3. Select the JSON file
  4. Settings are restored

Factory Reset

Reset all settings to defaults:

  1. Go to Settings → System
  2. Click Factory Reset
  3. Confirm the reset

⚠️ This clears all settings. Export first if needed.
