How Do You Use

How Do You Use CyberTray?

New to CyberTray? Start here with simple everyday examples to get value from the app in your first five minutes.

Pick the situation that sounds like you, follow two or three steps, and you are done. Each example links to the full guide in case you want more detail later.

1. Launch anything without desktop clutter

Your desktop is full of icons and the Start menu feels slow.

  1. Open the shelf with the tray icon or Alt+T.
  2. Drag your .exe or .lnk files straight into it once.
  3. From now on, type to filter and single click to launch.

Tip: mark daily apps as favorites so they sit at the top of the shelf.

2. Open apps with a flick of the mouse

You hate memorizing shortcuts but love fast access.

  1. Turn on Hotspots and pick a corner, for example top-right.
  2. Set a comfortable delay so it never fires by accident.
  3. Push your cursor into that corner and the shelf slides out.

Tip: combine hotspots with auto-hide for a completely hands-free dock.

3. Keep an eye on your PC at a glance

You wonder why everything feels slow and want a quick answer.

  1. Glance at the telemetry panel for RAM, CPU, disk, and VRAM use.
  2. If something looks stuck, open the Process Matrix to see what is running.
  3. End the frozen process right from there instead of hunting Task Manager.

Tip: it is great during games or heavy work to spot what is eating resources.

4. Hide private files behind a PIN

You have documents you do not want anyone opening by accident.

  1. Move them into the Cyber-Vault.
  2. Set a PIN.
  3. They stay locked there until you unlock them, separate from your normal files.

Tip: export a backup of your setup so shortcuts, categories, and vault settings survive a reinstall.

5. Launch a whole setup with one click

Every morning you open the same 4 things: mail, browser, editor, music.

  1. Put them together in one category.
  2. Use Group Launch to open them all at once.
  3. One click and your workspace is ready.

Tip: sort by Most Used so the apps you actually open bubble to the top.

6. Make it look like yours

You just installed it and the default neon is not quite your vibe.

  1. Try the built-in themes and pick grid or list layout.
  2. Add a custom background and adjust blur and icon size until it feels right.
  3. Turn on subtle launch sounds if you like feedback, or mute them for silence.

Tip: everything runs local and lightweight, so feel free to experiment.
