Organization
CyberPaste provides powerful organization tools to manage your clipboard history: folders, favorites, pinning, and bulk management.
Folders
Creating Folders
- Click the New Folder button in the sidebar or folder bar
- Enter a folder name
- The folder appears in the folder list
Managing Folders
| Action | Description |

| Rename | Right-click folder → Rename |
| Delete | Right-click folder → Delete |
| Move position | Drag to reorder in list |
Assigning Clips to Folders
- Drag & drop — Drag clips onto a folder
- Context menu — Right-click clip → Move to folder
- Bulk assign — Select multiple clips → Move to folder
Folder Navigation
- Click a folder to filter clips to that folder
- "All Clips" shows everything regardless of folder
- Folder counts show number of clips per folder
Edge Auto-Scrolling
When dragging a clip toward the edge of the list:
- The list auto-scrolls in the drag direction
- Allows dropping into folders at the top/bottom of the list
Favorites & Pinning
Pinning Clips
Pinned clips stay at the top of the list for quick access:
- Press
Pto pin/unpin selected clip - Right-click → Pin/Unpin
- Pinned clips show a pin badge
Pin Behavior
- Pinned clips always appear first in the list
- Pinned clips are never auto-deleted
- Pinned clips are visible in all folders
- Sort order: pinned first, then by recency
Favorites
Mark clips as favorites for quick filtering:
- Right-click → Add to favorites
- Filter to show only favorites
- Favorites are separate from pinning
Bulk Management
Multi-Select
Select multiple clips for bulk operations:

| Shift+Click | Select range from last selected |
| Ctrl+A | Select all visible clips |
Bulk Actions
Once multiple clips are selected:

| Delete | Remove all selected clips |
| Move to folder | Assign all to a folder |
| Pin/Unpin | Toggle pin on all selected |
| Copy | Copy all selected to clipboard |
Bulk Action Bar
When in bulk mode, an action bar appears with:
- Selection count ("N clips selected")
- Action buttons (Delete, Move, Pin, Copy)
- Cancel button to exit bulk mode
Clip Actions
Context Menu
Right-click any clip for actions:

Detail Panel
Press Space or click to open the detail panel:
- Full content preview
- Metadata (source, time, size, type)
- Edit button
- AI actions
- Copy/Paste buttons
Edit Clip
Open the editor to modify clip content:
- Text editor with syntax highlighting

Clip Numbering
Optional sequential numbering of clips:
- Each clip gets a capture number
- Numbers displayed on clip cards/rows
- Helps with quick reference ("paste clip #42")
- Configurable: enable/disable numbering
Sorting
Default Sort
Clips are sorted by capture time (newest first).
With Pinned Clips
Pinned clips always appear at the top, then by recency.
Folder View
Within a folder, clips are sorted by the same rules.
