What's New

v1.23.0 (2026-09-25)

  • Hide on outside click — Clicking the desktop or another app hides the window again in Full and Compact, including when it stays above other windows
  • Plain sentences — Styled clipboard HTML that is only a colored sentence is stored as plain text; tables and other real HTML stay HTML
  • Search and folders — Search history sits inside the field, Ctrl+F focuses search, and folder shortcuts are Ctrl+←/→ in Full and ←/→ in Compact
  • Compact hints — The footer slowly rotates search, folder, and peek hints in the same muted style, and folder changes use a short quiet highlight

v1.22.0 (2026-09-24)

  • Keyboard-first search history — Ctrl+H opens the menu with the first query selected; arrow keys and Enter work consistently in Full and Compact modes
  • Unified title-bar shortcuts — Peek (Ctrl+E), reset size (Ctrl+R), More (Ctrl+.), maximize (Ctrl+F11), and Compact layout (Ctrl+L) now share the Ctrl modifier
  • Adaptive menus and peek controls — More repositions and scrolls when needed, while peek controls sit beside the relevant filters/search controls without a persistent highlight
  • About and window polish — Dismissible update feedback, diagnostic copying, randomized CyberGems recommendations, and more reliable secondary-window focus

v1.21.0 (2026-09-22)

  • Achievements & progress — Optional local-only statistics, long-term milestones up to 25,000 clips, active-day tracking, and backup-safe progress snapshots
  • Quiet hours — Configurable notification quiet hours that also suppress associated sounds while preserving critical alerts
  • Save As — Export clips directly from context menus or content windows as images, text, HTML, RTF, URLs, original files, and multi-file packages
  • Search history — Persistent recent searches with MRU ordering, clear controls, literal wildcard handling, and a dedicated no-results state
  • Lock and tray polish — Wrong PIN attempts clear and refocus the input, native dialogs stay attached to the main window, and tray guidance is branded and bilingual

v1.20.0 (2026-09-07)

  • AI Settings — New Meta (Muse Spark) provider, prompt editor with rename/reset and descriptions, themed tooltips, and improved bidirectional translation defaults
  • Window menus — More menus across the main and image viewer windows; window branding opens About directly
  • Navigation — Space opens the selected clip's action menu; clips can be moved to top/bottom of the live list
  • Clear History — Available directly from the title-bar menu; the history limit now correctly counts pinned items

v1.19.x (2026-09-06)

  • Title-bar update button — A collapsible pill appears when a new version is available, in sync with About and the tray LED
  • Help menus — Documentation, wiki, changelog, GitHub, and About from both the title bar and the tray
  • Autostart fix — Windows autostart now works when installed under Program Files
