Settings

CyberWall provides extensive configuration options accessible through the Settings window.


Settings Categories

General

Start minimized Start in system tray
Minimize to tray Close button minimizes
Auto-check updates Check for updates on startup

Firewall

Setting Description
Firewall enabled Master toggle
Firewall mode Disabled / Block All / Ask / Killswitch
Auto-block enabled Auto-block unanswered prompts
Auto-block seconds Timeout before auto-block (30-1800s)

Language

Switching Language

  1. Go to Settings → General
  2. Select Language
  3. Choose English or Spanish
  4. Changes apply instantly

Import/Export

Export Rules

Backup your firewall rules:

  1. Go to Settings → Rules
  2. Click Export
  3. Choose save location
  4. Rules exported as JSON

Import Rules

Restore from backup:

  1. Go to Settings → Rules
  2. Click Import
  3. Select the JSON file
  4. Rules are merged with existing

Reset Settings

Reset to Defaults

  1. Go to Settings → General
  2. Click Reset to Defaults
  3. Confirm the reset

⚠️ This clears all settings and rules. Export first if needed.
