Settings displays a dedicated header badge showing the exact number of currently muted feeds without shifting surrounding controls.

Per-Feed Control

Right-click a feed → Notification settings:

  • Mute/unmute the feed
  • Set custom keywords for the feed

Keyword Filters

How Keywords Work

Only notify when articles match keywords:

  • Add keywords to watch list
  • Notifications trigger only for matching articles
  • Case-insensitive matching

Configuration

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications → Keyword Filters
  2. Add keywords (one per line)
  3. Optionally specify feeds to monitor

Examples

bitcoin → Notify for any article mentioning "bitcoin"

Snooze

Snooze All Notifications

Temporarily suppress all notifications:

  • Click Snooze in notification window
  • Or use the snooze shortcut
  • Choose duration: 15min, 30min, 1hr, 2hr, 4hr

Snooze Duration

Option Description
15 minutes Brief pause
30 minutes Short break
1 hour Meeting/work
2 hours Extended focus
4 hours Half day

Snooze Status

  • Time remaining shown
  • Cancel snooze anytime

Notification History

History Panel

View past notifications:

  • Access via the Notification History panel or the Inbox panel
  • Shows recent notification entries with feed icons and thumbnails when available
  • Progressive batch rendering: Uses IntersectionObserver to render items incrementally in batches (50 to 80 cards). This prevents DOM explosion and UI freezing even with 1,000+ stored notifications.
  • Adaptive badges: The top-bar notification badge automatically adopts your active theme accent color. If stored notifications reach the configured history limit, the badge switches to a red limit warning indicator.
  • Batched event throttling: Real-time incoming notifications during background feed fetching are throttled with 500ms batching to ensure zero UI lag.
  • Clear history option to remove all stored entries

History Settings

Setting Description
Max items Maximum notifications to store, default 1000
Unlimited Set the limit to Unlimited to keep all history items

Tray History

The system-tray menu includes a real-time synchronized Recent notifications submenu. Select an item to open its article, or choose View all notifications to open the full history panel.
