Features

Features

CyberManager includes resource heatmaps, real-time sparklines, theming, system tray integration, global hotkeys, search history, batch process control, and a heavy-process filter.

Process Categories, Lifecycle Tracking and Modern Context Menu

  • Category Filters: Filter processes instantly by role using chip buttons in Full mode (All, Apps, Background, Windows) or via the dedicated dropdown filter in Compact mode.
  • User Name Inspection: Display the user account owning each process with the optional User name column, supported by user-based search and filtering.
  • Status & Lifecycle Animations: Track process state with the dedicated Status column ("Running", "Exiting", "Exited"), accompanied by smooth animated crimson fade highlights on process termination and emerald fade highlights on new process arrival.
  • Glassmorphic Context Menu: Right-click context menu features native Windows Acrylic blur, refined translucency, centered hairline dividers, and an ergonomic hierarchy with End Task directly under the cursor and Process Properties at the bottom.

Run New Task and disk monitoring

  • Open Run New Task from the plus button in either process toolbar or with Ctrl+N. Programs, arguments, folders, documents, URLs, a file picker, and optional administrator privileges are supported. The latest 20 accepted commands can be reused or removed. See Run New Task.
  • Open Performance, Disks with Ctrl+4 or an activity LED. Choose all physical disks combined or one disk, with 500 ms read/write and utilization histories, latency, queues, and session totals. See System Information.
  • Title-bar controls and branding expose shortcuts in badges. Alt+M opens More on its first item for arrow-key navigation.
  • Settings uses more of the default window width and larger text. About has a compact layout with update actions and links; update prompts show installed and available versions separately.

Batch Process Control

Select several processes and act on them together, the way Windows Explorer handles files.

  • Ctrl+click adds or removes a single row, Shift+click selects a range, and dragging over rows draws a rubber-band selection
  • The action bar shows the selection count and an End selected button; Delete ends the whole batch
  • Selecting a group parent expands the batch to every instance of that application
  • A single confirmation reports the total number of instances to be ended
  • Right-clicking inside the selection keeps the batch instead of collapsing it to one row
  • Actions that only apply to one process (Properties, restart, suspend, resume, priority, copy path, open folder, search online) are disabled while a batch is selected

Process Restart

Restarting relaunches a process from its executable path:

  • The replacement is started first, and the original is terminated only once the relaunch succeeds
  • Packaged apps (UWP / Microsoft Store) are refused with a clear message, because their image cannot be relaunched from the protected WindowsApps folder
  • Available from the context menu and the toolbars in both full and compact modes

Pause Detection

Pause detection freezes the process list snapshot while keeping the rest of the interface live:

  • The list keeps its last snapshot, so you can inspect rows that would otherwise disappear or reorder
  • CPU and RAM sampling continues, so the gauges, totals, and sparklines keep updating
  • The toolbar button shows a play icon and an accent highlight while paused, and the footer reports that detection is paused
  • Toggle it with Ctrl+P

Compact Mode

Compact mode provides a dense live process monitor for keeping an eye on resource usage while working in other applications.

  • Shows friendly process names, CPU, RAM, PID, and process badges
  • Includes CPU/RAM tooltips and resource heatmaps
  • Supports pinning, context actions, search, recent-search history, and column resizing
  • Includes the pause detection control, the More menu, and the column visibility menu
  • Shares the heavy-process filter, batch selection, and remembered sorting with Full mode

Floating Metrics Widget

Keep CPU and RAM visible in a separate window while the main process list is minimized or behind other applications.

  • Open or close the widget with the floating-widget control in the main toolbar
  • Drag it by its body to position it, or enable Always on top to keep it above other windows
  • The widget shows live CPU and RAM readings with history graphs; CPU history separates user and kernel time
  • Its disk LED shows reads in green, writes in red, and both in amber. Click it or press Ctrl+4 to restore the main window and open disk performance
  • Hover over a metric for details: CPU model and user/kernel percentages, or RAM in-use, available, and total values
  • The window position is remembered and kept within an available monitor after display changes

Persistent Update Notices

When a newer release is available, the update notice remains accessible from the title bar in Full or Compact mode and from the notification-area menu. Use the notice to open the update information and continue to the About window for update actions.

Live Sparklines

The main window footer displays real-time CPU and RAM sparkline graphs alongside the process count and totals.

CPU Sparkline

  • Shows total CPU usage history (60-sample rolling window)
  • Overlays kernel time in a secondary color
  • Displays current CPU percentage as text label

RAM Sparkline

  • Shows memory load percentage history (60-sample rolling window)
  • Displays current used RAM in GB as text label

Performance

  • Metrics are sampled at the configured refresh interval; graphs move smoothly between those real samples without collecting extra data
  • Cached graph drawings share an animation clock; animation pauses when graphs are hidden or their host windows are minimized, and respects Windows animation settings
  • 60-sample history provides ~48 seconds of visible trend at default 800ms interval

Performance View

The Performance view provides hardware and performance metrics across Summary, CPU, Memory, System Activity, and Disks tabs, with histories that move smoothly between samples.

Opening

Select Performance in the main navigation, or use Ctrl+2. The System Information command (Ctrl+I) also opens this view.

Summary Tab

  • CPU and RAM sparkline graphs (large view)
  • System totals: handles, threads, process count
  • CPU breakdown: total, kernel, user
  • Memory: in-use, available, total (GB)
  • Hardware topology: cores, sockets, logical processors
  • CPU model name and RAM capacity subtitle

CPU Tab

  • Full-width CPU history sparkline
  • CPU model name, core count, logical processor count
  • Real-time total, kernel, and user percentages

Memory Tab

  • Full-width memory history sparkline
  • Detailed memory breakdown:
    • Total, in-use, available (GB)
    • Commit charge: current, limit, peak (GB)
