How Do You Use CyberClock?

New to CyberClock? Start here with simple everyday examples to get value from the app in your first five minutes.

Pick the situation that sounds like you, follow two or three steps, and you are done. Each example links to the full guide in case you want more detail later.

1. Focus on work or study

You want to work in focused blocks and take real breaks.

  1. Open CyberClock and go to the Timer view.
  2. Press 25m for a classic focus block and press Start.
  3. When it rings, take a 5 minute break. Repeat three or four times, then take a longer break.

Tip: if you want the countdown visible while you work in another app, right click the tray icon and choose New Timer. It floats on top with its own window.

2. Keep the time visible without clutter

You want a small clock that stays on screen while you work.

  1. Switch to Mini Mode from the View menu or the tray icon.
  2. Right click the mini clock, try a quiet skin such as Zen Minimal or Obsidian.
  3. Right click again and enable Lock position so it never moves by accident.

Tip: Mini Mode stays on top by default, so it works great in a screen corner while you browse or code.

3. Wind down at night

You want to relax, read, or fall asleep with calm background sound.

  1. Open the Relax view.
  2. Try Rain, then Ctrl+Click Fireplace to blend both layers together.
  3. Set the auto-stop timer to 30m so the audio fades out gently by itself.

Tip: try the breathing circle with Box (4-4-4-4) for a couple of minutes: inhale, hold, exhale, hold.

4. Time quick things: cooking, workouts, games

You need a fast countdown or a simple stopwatch without opening the full app.

  1. Right click the tray icon and choose New Timer or New Stopwatch.
  2. For the floating timer, press 1m, 5m, or 10m to add time, then press Start when you are ready.
  3. For the floating stopwatch, press Start and use Lap to mark rounds.

Tip: each floating window is independent, so you can run a pasta timer and a workout stopwatch at the same time.

5. Organize your month in a simple way

You want notes and reminders without a heavy calendar app.

  1. Open the Calendar on the Home view.
  2. Click any day to add a note, for example "Dentist at 10:00" or "Marta birthday". Press Ctrl+Enter to save.
  3. Check the agenda next to the calendar to see what is coming up.

Tip: moon phase icons appear on each day, handy if you like evening walks or outdoor plans.

6. Make it yours in two minutes

You just installed it and want it to look right for you.

  1. Open Settings, Appearance tab.
  2. Try a dial design: Classic for clean, HUD for techy, Gem Crown for colorful.
  3. Pick an accent tint, choose 12H or 24H, and add your name under General, Welcome to get a greeting like "Good evening, Alex".

Tip: if you prefer a calendar-first layout, enable Hide analog clock and the calendar takes the full width.
